Southwest IN Chamber Leads Delegation to Nebraska

The Southwest Indiana Chamber is leading a delegation of community and business leaders to Omaha, Nebraska this week. The chamber says the Inter-City Leadership Visit aims to inspire creative thinking, networking and discussions about innovative initiatives to grow communities throughout the region.
The chamber cites Omaha’s ranking among the top 10 up-and-coming destinations in 2018 by TripAdvisor.com. The city is home to five Fortune 500 companies and its businesses represent a variety of sectors, including financial services, defense, manufacturing and tech.
The members of the delegation include:
- Tara Barney – President and CEO, Southwest Indiana Chamber
- Lloyd Winnecke – Mayor of Evansville
- Christine Keck – Managing Director of Federal Government Affairs, CenterPoint Energy
- Ron Romain – CEO, United Companies
- Ron Rochon – President, University of Southern Indiana
- Curt Begle – President of Health, Hygiene and Specialties Division, Berry Global Group
The Inter-City Leadership Visit will take place Monday and Tuesday in Omaha.
