South Shore CVA Honors Hospitality Leaders

The Comfort Inn in Hammond was named 2015 Hotel of the Year.

The South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority has honored hospitality, business and political leaders with Hospitality Awards. The organization says more than 250 attended the 32nd annual celebration.

This year’s award winners are:

Hotel of the Year: Comfort Inn, Hammond

Attraction of the Year: ChicagoLand Popcorn, Hobart

Restaurant of the Year: Stadium Sports Bar & Grill (Ameristar), East Chicago

Bring it Home Hero: Chris Kaemerer, Ramencon Anime Convention

Bring it Home Hero: The Diggz of Northwest Indiana, Hobart

Elected Officials of the Year: Griffith Town Council
