South Bend Company Acquired

SSI Group will be rebranded under the name Receive.

South Bend-based private equity firm Norris Equity Partners has acquired accounts receivable management company SSI Group Inc. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, however, NEP says it is rebranding the company and will add a small number of jobs in the first half of 2017.

SSI Group, which is also based in South Bend, will now be known as Receive. NEP says it plans to add four jobs to the company, including a new vice president of business development. Managing Partner Ben Norris says Receive is well-positioned for organic growth.

"We are honored to partner with such a respected and professional business that takes care and exhibits such a high degree of thoughtfulness when engaging with consumers," said Norris. "We expect growth to accelerate as NEP harnesses its vast network to bring Receive to more providers in the market."

NEP says members of Receive’s senior management team will remain with the company and will run day-to-day operations. In addition to hiring new employees, NEP says Receive will expand into new business segments, including business collections and total revenue cycle markets.
