Solstice Medical Adding Jobs
Indiana's technology and health care sectors continue their momentum. Software developer Solstice Medical LLC has announced plans to expand its Columbia City and Indianapolis operations, creating more than one dozen jobs over the next few years. Soltice Medical provides advanced surgical supply chain software systems for the health care industry. The company says it has already begun hiring operational and accounting associates in Columbus, and software developers, marketers and client service professionals in Indianapolis.
Solstice says an increasing client base is leading to the move. The company plans to invest more than $680,000 to expand its Columbia City headquarters and Indianapolis Solution Delivery Center.
Last summer, the company landed $2.5 million in funding through Indiana's 21st Century Research and Technology Fund, which is operated by Elevate Ventures and the Indiana Economic Development Corp.
In February 2014, Solstice named Todd Melioris chief executive officer. He previously worked with health care technology startup hc1.com. At the time, the company announced former Chief Executive Officer Daniel Sands would remain as executive chairman and chief strategy officer.
