The company specializes in solar power for residential and business use. Last summer, the company installed solar panels at the headquarters and practice facility for the Indianapolis Colts.
“Hunger for renewable energy has led us to opening a second office to accommodate for our growing customer base,” said POWERHOME SOLAR Chief Executive Officer Jayson Waller. “This also opens the door for more available jobs in the renewable energy market.”
Once operational, the company will operate its sales office in Fort Wayne, but the warehouse for installations will be in Decatur.
POWERHOME is conducting walk-in interviews Wednesday and Thursday for installers, warehouse personnel, electricians and CDL drivers at its office in Decatur from 8 a.m.- 4 p.m.
The company says it offers on-the-job training, so no prior experience for installers is needed. Learn more by clicking here.
