SoIN Tourism has promoted Luanne Mattson to assistant director, marketing & sales. She started with the organization in 2014 leading media relations strategies and managing the bureau’s website and annual visitor guide publication. Mattson most recently served as director of communications. In her new role, she will oversee a team of nine who execute marketing and sales efforts to bring new visitors to Southern Indiana and the Louisville area.

Also, Todd Read (pictured) has been promoted to trade & consumer sales manager. He will continue to oversee visitor outreach at local festivals and at consumer travel shows from Nashville to Chicago. Read will also be responsible for visitor services through the Jeffersonville visitor center and the I-65 south welcome center near Henryville. In addition, he will also maintain an aggressive effort to attract motorcoach tours to the area while servicing meetings and sports event clients.
