SoIN Tourism has named Russell Goodwin (pictured) communications manager. He previously served as director of marketing at the Transit Authority of River City in Kentucky. Goodwin will be responsible for media relations, providing written content for various marketing channels, guiding the publication of an annual visitor guide and overseeing the execution of a community relations strategy.

Jen Bryant has been hired as visual content manager. She brings marketing experience using online tools, print collateral, email, trade show, direct mail and numerous other channels in support of sales efforts for LSS Holdings as senior director of marketing and with various clients through her agency work. Bryant will be curating and developing photographic, video and other visual content for digital, print and collateral marketing channels.

Clint Bryant has been appointed CRM and website manager. He has a background in e-commerce and digital marketing from Inked Brands, an agency in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Bryant has worked with social media influencers in e-commerce and specializes in digital marketing. He will work with partners and staff to help maximize the effectiveness of SoIN Tourism’s website and enhance the overall experience for potential visitors to Clark and Floyd Counties.

Also, Brittany Schmoetzer (pictured) has been promoted to visitor services coordinator. She most recently served as travel counselor and will oversee the operations at SoIN Tourism’s two visitor centers, Jeffersonville and I-65 southbound near Henryville. In her new role, Schmoetzer will be responsible for hiring, training and scheduling travel counselors; merchandising in the gift shop, visitor guide distribution throughout the region, managing SoIN’s presence at consumer travel shows and special events, and acting as a liaison with Louisville Tourism for our regional Certified Tourism Ambassador training partnership.

SoIN Tourism (the Clark-Floyd Counties Convention & Tourism Bureau) is the official destination marketing organization for Clark and Floyd Counties in southern Indiana. Its mission is to promote and develop the unique Southern Indiana visitor experience brand to priority targeted group and leisure travelers to achieve new tourism spending benefits for the industry, communities and residents of Clark & Floyd Counties.
