Society of Innovators Lands $325K ArcelorMittal Grant
ArcelorMittal is naming the Society of Innovators at Purdue Northwest as the recipient of a $325,000 grant. The funding is part of a special community investment initiative, “Building Resilience: Investing in Nonprofit Sustainability.”
The Society of Innovators at Purdue Northwest is one of 14 nonprofit organizations nationwide to win and plans to focus on developing a strategic plan for the organization.
Launched in 2017, the Building Resilience program invests in areas of nonprofit management that are underfunded by foundations and corporations. The program focuses on groups that have significant potential to make a long-term impact.
“We appreciate that Arcelor Mittal chose to invest in the Society of Innovators at Purdue Northwest at this key stage of our development,” Executive Director Sheila Brillson stated.
ArcelorMittal received more than 55 applications for this year’s grant initiative. To view full list of the 2018 Building Resilience cohort and their projects, click here.
