SmithAmundsen Adds to Team

Attorney David Jose has joined SmithAmundsen’s Health Care Practice Group in Indianapolis. He focuses his practice on health care, corporate, administrative and regulatory law. Jose regularly handles matters for hospitals, mental health centers, long term care facilities and physicians. He helps these clients with a variety of matters including regulatory compliance and administrative appeals, internal investigation, contract review and negotiation, reimbursement matters, business transactions, and general commercial and corporate matters. Jose is a member of the boards of directors of Tangram, the Phoenix Theater, Indiana Recycling Coalition and Kurt Vonnegut Memorial Library. He is an active participant for the Wheeler Mission Team and serves as a member of the Indianapolis advisory board for Back on My Feet, which provides community support and resources for homeless individuals. Jose is the 2015 recipient of the Indiana Bar Association Community Service Award, the 2013 Mayor of Indianapolis Community Service Award and the 2015 Back on My Feet Volunteer of the Year Award.
