Founder Yuri Cataldo, Glacier Bottling Co.'s only full-time employee, says the size of his company has forced him to get creative with marketing IndigoH2O. Cataldo started the company in 2011 after a series of health issues prompted him to change his lifestyle and create water he would drink.
IndigoH2O is being distributed at several stores including Whole Foods in northern Indiana, greater Chicago and southern Michigan. Some markets in Florida, Texas and California also carry the blue glass bottles of alkaline mineral drinking water. His first customer was Cerulean Restaurant in Winona Lake.
Cataldo, who teaches at Indiana University South Bend as a “day job,” says he runs a lean operation, hiring part-time workers when necessary to help fill larger orders.
