Skrillex Returning to Indy 500 Snake Pit

One of the biggest names in electronic dance music is returning to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Skrillex will headline the Indy 500 Snake Pit concert ahead of the 103rd Running of the Indianapolis 500.
The Grammy Award winner previously headlined the Snake Pit in 2016. This year’s concert will also feature performances by Alesso, Illenium and Chris Lake.
"This year’s Indy 500 Snake Pit presented by Coors Light features another fantastic lineup of world-class artists that will keep the off-track entertainment going all day inside Turn 3 for nearly 30,000 enthusiastic fans," IMS President Doug Boles said in a news release. "The Snake Pit has become a sensational success story for IMS and the Indy 500, and it has become a large part of what introduces the next generation of Indy 500 fan to the track through the fun atmosphere and unforgettable memories."
Tickets for the concert are on sale now. The show is scheduled to begin at 7:00 a.m. on May 26, with specific set times to be announced at a later date.
The announcement adds to a long list of performers already confirmed for the weekend of the Indy 500. IMS previously announced Foreigner and Kool & The Gang will perform on Carb Day on May 24, while country rock group Zac Brown Band will headline Legends Day on the 25th.
