The company says it is currently working on other improvements, including upgrades to its on-site repair shop.
SIGMA founder Rob Palmer says the company’s new floorplan will allow workers with different specialization areas to share expertise. He says changing technology means the company must "make it a priority to educate our staff in the latest innovations in packaging equipment."
Construction on the additional projects, which also include workspace for the company’s SIGMA Surplus division, es expected to be complete by the end of the month.
SIGMA Equipment was founded in 2003 as SIGMA Packaging. It specializes in packaging equipment for industries including food and beverage, pharmaceutical and health and beauty.
