A new assisted living facility will officially open Wednesday in a unique location in New Albany. Mansion on Main is the result of a $15 million revamp of a former shirt factory. Production at the 1920s-era M. Fine & Sons Building ended more than 40 years ago.

The new development is slated to employ nearly 70. Vitality Senior Services is operating the facility, which will include in-room emergency response, transportation and concierge services, as well as a walking park, restaurant, library and chapel. Other features include a theater, spa, barber shop, beauty salon and laundry services.
