A party supply company in northeast Indiana is marking progress on its new headquarters in downtown Fort Wayne. Shindigz, which is currently based in South Whitley, has unveiled the exterior signage on the historic building, now known as Shindigz Place, that will house the company’s corporate office.

Shindigz announced plans for the project in late July. The company says it will bring up to 50 jobs to downtown Fort Wayne and could add up to 20 new jobs over the next several years. The building will house Shindigz’ professional and administrative staff, while its manufacturing and fulfillment operations will remain in South Whitley.

“This is such a fun and exciting day for our entire team,” said Wendy Moyle, co-owner of Shindigz. “We’re proud of our company and thrilled to be a part of the incredible momentum taking place in downtown Fort Wayne and throughout the city.”

Chief Executive Officer Dan Haight spoke with Inside INdiana Business last month and said the new HQ is part of a broader effort to develop a next generation workforce pipeline. The company plans to begin relocating staff to the Fort Wayne location in early 2019.
