A new jobs resource is available in Shelby County. The HireMe Shelby County Career Connector is a program of the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce and involves more than 30 participating businesses.

The organization says the resource serves as "a more centralized location" for member businesses and job seekers to connect. Locals looking for work can submit a resume or job history through the platform for free and the chamber says it will be shared with Shelby County businesses. Employers involved include Indiana Grand Racing and Casino, Ryobi Die Casting USA Inc., Major Health Partners, Knauf Insulation and NSG Group.
