Indianapolis-based Sharpen Technologies, a cloud contact center platform with an agent-first focus, has promoted Bracken Fields to chief technology officer. He will be responsible for the company’s technology strategy and oversee operations to achieve new levels of performance and innovation on a global scale. With more than a decade of experience in the communications industry, Fields most recently served as executive vice president of product and infrastructure. He also was tasked with ensuring the platform evolved alongside marketplace trends while operating fluidly on global networks.
Under Fields’ leadership, Sharpen’s platform has successfully placed more than 65 million calls over the last six years and supports clients in more than 13 geographic regions. Fields’ most notable accomplishments also include the creation of Sharpen’s global replication technology, Sharpen Q and Sharpen Insights.
Fields has been with Sharpen since its inception. He co-founded the company alongside Weeks in 2011 after he developed the real-time communication technology that serves as the foundation of Sharpen’s platform. Together, Fields and Weeks have evolved the company into an industry trailblazer by providing a contact center platform that creates happier agents and delivers outstanding customer experiences.
