Before Joining Inside Indiana Business in December 2014, Shalah was an Anchor/Reporter for WEHT-TV/WTVW-TV in Evansville. Shalah is originally from Columbus, Indiana and graduated from Ball State University with a B.A. in Telecommunications. After graduation, she moved to Augusta, Georgia to work at WRDW-TV. She started as a Multimedia Journalist and was later promoted to the morning team as the live reporter. Over the course of her career, Shalah has won a regional Emmy, a Georgia AP Broadcasters Association award for Best Series Reporting and has been recognized by the Indiana AP Broadcast Association. She currently lives in Indianapolis with her Shih Tzu, Bella.
