Seymour Egg Producer Cuts Ribbon on New HQ

Seymour-based Rose Acre Farms Inc. is showcasing its new headquarters. The $5.5 million project began last summer and will house around 80 workers. The nation’s second-largest egg producer’s Jackson County roots date back to the 1930s.
It employs some 2,100 throughout the U.S., 574 of which are in Jackson County. Chief Operating Officer Tony Wesner says "when we were designing this building we carefully considered the various design elements that would best suit our employees. We wanted an open building with natural lighting with many options for meetings as well as collaborative work areas. We believe it will be extremely functional and a great upgrade for our employees and guests. We also believe it will be very helpful in attracting and retaining new talent from the Seymour area."
The 27,000 square-foot facility includes an open floor plan, conference rooms and a large foyer that displays the company’s history. Columbus-based Force Construction partnered on building the new main office.
Rose Acre Farms has a presence in seven states and supplies shell eggs, liquid egg products and dry egg products to consumer, commercial, restaurant and retail-level customers.
