Seven Indiana hospitals are featured on Modern Healthcare’s list of Best Places to Work in Healthcare. The publication says honorees on the list were selected for their ability to “stand out in their efforts to create an empowered and satisfied workforce.”
A ranked order of the list will debut in September and be featured in a supplement published with Modern Healthcare’s September issue.
“Despite the political headwinds that the industry faces, healthcare organizations continue to be dominant economic engines in their communities,” said Aurora Aguilar, editor of Modern Healthcare, in a news release. “Organizations recognized on this year’s list have also weathered mergers and reorganizations and have come out stronger. As evidenced every month by the Bureau of Labor Statistics employment numbers, the industry shows little sign of slowing down when it comes to creating jobs. And that puts pressure on employers to create not only robust compensation and benefit packages, but to create a sense of loyalty in a competitive labor market."
The seven Hoosier hospitals are:
- Deaconess-The Women’s Hospital, Newburgh
- Harmony Healthcare IT, South Bend
- Parkview Huntington Hospital, Huntington
- Parkview LaGrange Hospital, LaGrange
- Parkview Noble Hospital, Kendallville
- Parkview Wabash Hospital, Wabash
- Parkview Whitley/Warsaw Hospital, Columbia City
