Subscribe NowFuneral services for radio icon and community leader Amos Brown will be held Saturday morning at Light of the World Christian Church in Indianapolis. He passed away last weekend while visiting family in Chicago.
The services are set for 11:00 a.m Saturday at the church at 4646 Michigan Road in Indianapolis. Calling will be from 12:00-6:00 p.m. Friday and 10:00-11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Brown was a mainstay on the central Indiana airwaves for 40 years and was inducted into the Indiana Broadcasters Hall of Fame in 2007. His popular "Afternoons with Amos" program began running on Radio One in 2004.
