Carmel-based Mainstreet Property Group LLC's $15 million proposal to build a new senior care facility in Crown Point has cleared a hurdle. A spokeswoman for the company tells Inside INdiana Business the operation could employ 100 full-time workers. Zoning approval for the 20-acre site heads to the full city council next month. Kate Snedeker also says construction could put up to 300 part-time employees to work.

Plans call for the facility to serve 100 residents, mostly in transitional care.

In September, Mainstreet finalized the $17 million sale of a 100-unit facility in Avon to an affiliated trust.
