Senate Candidates Set For Debates

Hoosiers will have the chance to hear from Indiana’s candidates for U.S. Senate this fall. Incumbent Joe Donnelly (D-IN), Republican Mike Braun, and Libertarian Lucy Brenton will participate in two debates ahead of the November election, which will be televised throughout the state and nationwide on C-SPAN.
The Indiana Debate Commission says it is working with the campaigns to finalize dates and venues for the debates. Each debate will be available both on television and live streamed online.
"This particular race has generated significant interest within Indiana and beyond our borders," said Commission President Gerry Lanosga. "We will continue our independent role in producing widely-disseminated, public-focused debates that provide voters with the best opportunity to hear the candidates in an unfiltered setting."
Hoosier voters can submit questions to be considered for the debates at the Indiana Debate Commission website. The commission says voters can submit questions that "are most pressing to their lives and businesses for matters that are under the control of a U.S. senator.
The commission says the dates and venues for the debates will be announced at a later date.
