Seat Maker to Celebrate $38M Expansion

NHK Seating, which is a subsidiary of Japan-based NHK Spring Co., Ltd. announced plans in February 2020 to invest approximately $38 million to increase its footprint by 250%.
As part of the expansion, the company says it will create up to 100 jobs by the end of 2024.
The Indiana Economic Development Corp. says the new plant is twice as large as the existing 152,000-square-foot plant along State Road 28 in Frankfort.
NHK Seating is a supplier for Subaru of Indiana Automotive in Lafayette.
