Storage Solutions Inc. says it will handle reduction management services for a subsidiary of Illinois-based Sears Holdings Corp. (Nasdaq: SHLD).
As part of the deal, Storage Solutions will work with Innovel Solutions to liquidate materials handling equipment, as well as manage auctioning of maintenance, office and other power equipment and market the sale of items at distribution facilities in Illinois, Ohio and Nevada.
Storage Solutions also has offices in California, Minnesota, Tennessee and Kansas. President Kevin Rowles says "Storage Solutions has a unique position in the marketplace to provide these services to companies of all sizes in North America that are relocating, consolidating or ceasing operation. We were pleased to work with Innovel Solutions to create a highly sophisticated and scalable plan to meet all of their needs during the liquidation process, and expect to exceed expectations by the end of the project."
The project is slated to be complete in May. Storage Solutions was founded in the late 1970s and has around 100 employees nationwide.
