The Indiana School for the Blind and Visually Impaired has named James Michaels chair of its board of directors. He serves as vice president of program services at Bosma Enterprises. 

Michaels has spent his life helping others who are blind or visually impaired. With bachelor’s and master’s degrees from IUPUI in social work, and as a licensed clinical social worker, he has worked in various capacities for the State of Indiana, Indiana School for the Blind and Bosma.
