Indianapolis-based Schmidt Associates has hired Julie Kost as marketing manager and associate. For the last 13-plus years, she served as head of marketing services for American Structurepoint.
A graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University, she began her career in student loan servicing where she served as a manager of marketing services for Sallie Mae/USA Funds now known as Strada Education Network.
Outside of her everyday work, Kost serves as president of the Indiana Chapter of the Society for Marketing Professional Services, a community of marketing and business development professionals working to secure profitable business relationships for their architectural, engineering, and construction companies. In this position, she oversees a team of 10 volunteers who make up the organization’s board of directors.
