Scale CEO Joins SmartFile Board

Indianapolis-based SmartFile has added a new member to its board of directors. Jeff Ready, co-founder and chief executive officer of Indy-based Scale Computing, becomes the fifth board member.

The tech company calls the addition of Ready to the board a "boon" with his knowledge and experience in multiple startups. SmartFile says it will be "fortified" in its mission to serve its customers.

"We are thrilled to have Jeff taking a board seat," SmartFile CEO John Hurley. "The depth of his industry knowledge and his familiarity with the current tech landscape will help to shape and scale our business. In addition, Jeff’s technical prowess will be an important asset as we continue to forge into the enterprise security space."

Ready said he is thrilled to help guide the company as a board member.
