SBA Leader to Honor Indiana Businesses

McMahon was nominated to lead the SBA by President Donald Trump.

The administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration will be in Indianapolis and Speedway Wednesday to honor 20 small businesses from throughout Indiana. Linda McMahon will join Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch to present the Economic Development and Growth Through Entrepreneurship Awards.

McMahon will be in town to deliver the keynote address at the National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders conference in downtown Indianapolis. She will then take part in a manufacturer’s roundtable at AJ Foyt’s in Speedway before joining Crouch to present the EDGE awards.

The Indiana Economic Development Corp. says each award recipient has received counseling from the Indiana Small Business Development Center. The recipients represent Allen, Delaware, Floyd, Franklin, Howard, Kosciusko, Lake, Madison, Marion, Monroe, Owen, Spencer, St. Joseph, Tippecanoe, Vanderburgh and Vigo counties.

The EDGE award event will begin at 11:30 a.m. at the Dallara IndyCar Factory in Speedway. McMahon and Crouch are set to tour the Dallara facility after the award presentation.
