Servants At Work has appointed Richard Hagarty executive director. SAW is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to design, fabricate and install wooden wheelchair ramps for financially disadvantaged elderly persons with disabilities, allowing them to remain in their homes instead of moving to an institution for long-term care or live a trapped and reclusive existence. Hagarty is a founder of SAW. He previously served as president and chief executive officer, helping it grow into a public service group of more than 580 volunteers while building almost 1,500 ramps in more than 57 locations throughout Indiana.
