Santa Claus, Ind. — CNN's list of “12 best places to spend Christmas 2014” includes the famous small town of Santa Claus, Indiana.
“Being included on CNN's holiday list two years in a row is an exceptional honor for this small town,” says Spencer County Visitors Bureau Executive Director Melissa Brockman. “It's certainly the most wonderful time of the year here and we love to welcome visitors from near and far.”

The town of Santa Claus was also named as one of Travel Channel's best holiday attractions and on Budget Travel's holiday fun list this year.
Santa Claus, Indiana, is home to nationally known attractions such as Holiday World & Splashin' Safari and Lake Rudolph Campground & RV Resort.
America's Christmas Hometown: Santa Claus, Indiana, hosts a celebration of family fun on the first three weekends of December. With one weekend remaining in 2014, events include a Traditional Christmas Dinner with Santa at Santa's Lodge, Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire at Santa's Candy Castle, the Santa Claus Land of Lights at Lake Rudolph, and much more.
