Sam Hunt Named Legends Day Headliner

A Grammy Award-nominated country music singer will headline this year’s Firestone Legends Day Concert at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Sam Hunt will take the stage inside Turn 4 of the famed oval May 26, the day before the 102nd Indianapolis 500.
The day will also feature performances by Canaan Smith and Filmore. IMS president Doug Boles says "the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil is the greatest race in the world, and the addition of Sam Hunt to our race weekend concert lineup will help to make IMS the concert capital of the world on Memorial Day weekend. Sam has emerged as one of the biggest superstars in country music with his chart-topping hits, and the Firestone Legends Day Concert will once again prove to be a great way to celebrate race weekend with one of hottest acts in music!" Hunt is best known for his 2017 single, "Body Like A Back Road," which reached the Billboard "Hot 100."
The music will begin at 3:30 p.m. Legends Day presented by Firestone will also include the annual Public Drivers’ Meeting on pit road, autograph sessions with the 33-driver field and former Indy 500 drivers, and a memorabilia show.
