Saint Mary’s College Names Provost

Saint Mary’s College has selected Titilayo Ufomata as provost and senior vice president for academic affairs. Ufomata, who previously served as provost and dean of faculty at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in New York, will begin her new role in June.
Ufomata also served as special advisory to the president and board of trustees at Hobart and William Smith Colleges. During her tenure, she provided executive oversight to the academic program, faculty, and academic support areas.
Nancy Nekvasil, interim president of Saint Mary’s College, says Ufomata brings "much experience and fresh ideas to this office for both undergraduate and graduate programs."
Ufomata also previously served as associate provost and distinguished professor at Kentucky State University. She taught speech and communication at the university as a tenured professor.
