Saint Mary’s College Interim President Nancy Nekvasil has named Martha “Marty” McCampbell general counsel. McCampbell recently served as director of diversity, equity and inclusion and deputy Title IX coordinator at Indiana University South Bend. Previously, she served as general counsel for Lincoln Memorial University from 2011 to 2015, a private, liberal arts school in Harrogate, Tennessee.

McCampbell earned both her bachelor’s degree and juris doctor degree from the University of Tennessee before serving as trial counsel for the Knox County, Tennessee Law Director’s Office. In that role, her duties were expanded to serve as in-house counsel to Knox County Schools, a district with 88 schools and nearly 60,000 students.
