The school says the program will focus on practical skills and ethical values for potential health care organization leaders.
The college says the program will cover fields including marketing, finance, research, laws and regulations. School leaders say ideal candidates include those looking for a career change from nursing to an administrative position and those looking to advance from middle management to upper management.
Saint Mary-of-the-Woods says the new degree is the latest move in its long-term effort to equip students for high-demand careers. The school has added a health care administration degree, RN to BSN completion program and a Bachelor of Science over the last few years.
