SJHS broke ground on the $9 million project in March 2014.
Hospital officials say the first phase of the project was a new emergency department expansion and the second phase included a renovation of the former emergency department.
“This is truly a celebration of our community and its investment in this expansion. The Daisy and John L. Oliver Emergency Center has transformed emergency care here in Marshall County and our surrounding communities, while creating a superior experience for our patients,” SJHS Plymouth Medical Center President Loretta Schmidt said.
The community is invited to the September 24th dedication. The ceremony starts at 2:00 p.m. Fr. John Korcsmar from St. Michael’s Catholic Church will perform the blessing. Brief tours of the facility will be given.
