Porter County resident Tim Reed (pictured on right) has received a Sagamore of the Wabash for his distinguished service on the Indiana Real Estate Commission. Nicholas Rhoad, executive director of the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency, presented the award to Reed on behalf of Governor Mike Pence. Reed was first appointed to the commission in 1992 and served as chairman on multiple occasions. He had been on the commission for more than two decades and served as the commission’s liaison to the Indiana Attorney General’s Office. Reed also represented Indiana at the national level with the Association of Real Estate License Law Officials, promoting excellence in real estate regulation.
