One of the largest employers in Crawfordsville is planning to expand. The Journal Review reports Illinois-based RR Donnelley (Nasdaq: RRD) intends to invest nearly $16 million into digital printing operations, which could create about a dozen jobs. The company is looking to boost color printing volume. RR Donnelley recently added $2 million in upgraded equipment from an Illinois operation.

RR Donnelley announced $22 million in equipment improvements in Warsaw in July. That plan is expected to create 75 jobs.

The city offered tax abatement, which the company tells the publication was a deciding factor in the decision to grow in Montgomery County.
