Fishers-based RQAW has hired Ed Kowalski as a senior designer in its water resources department.

He has spent the past decade as a senior computer automated design technician and engineering assistant at Janssen & Spaans Engineering in Indianapolis. In that role Kowalski prepared construction plans and other required documents for road, small structure and rehabilitation projects to meet INDOT requirements and deadlines.

Since beginning his career in 1995, Kowalski has also served as a CAD technician at Ashton Land Surveyor, Inc. in Muncie and Weihe Engineers in Indianapolis . He has also served as a design director and project coordinator at Tanks Plus in Anderson.
