Royal Adhesives Acquires Georgia Business

South Bend-based Royal Adhesives & Sealants LLC has acquired certain business assets from Texas-based Graco Supply. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, however Royal says the Georgia-based Ball Ground aircraft sealant repackaging business will now operate under the Royal name.

Royal says the Ball Ground business will continue to be located in Ball Ground, Georgia. The business provides pre-mixed and frozen aircraft sealants, along with other packaging and application kits, to aircraft manufacturers and their subcontractors.

"The acquisition of the Ball Ground business is a logical step in our strategy to develop a global aircraft sealant business," said Ted Clark, chief executive officer of Roya. "Graco Supply, who has been our distributor/partner since we entered the aircraft sealant business over ten years ago, has been instrumental in supporting the development of our sealant business."

The company did not state whether any jobs would be affected by the deal.
