Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology Professor Emeritus Cary Laxer has been recognized as an ABET Fellow for sustained contributions to training and incorporating the computer science model curriculum into ABET criteria. He served as a full-time faculty member from 1981 to 2017, including leading the development of the computer science and software engineering area. Laxer has served as an ABET volunteer, program evaluator, team chair, commissioner and executive committee member.
