Warley, who currently serves as interim director of the School of Engineering at Penn State Eric, the Behrend College, will begin his new role in July.
Rose-Hulman says Warley will be responsible for the execution of academic goals and working with academic department heads to maintain efficient operations. Warley joined Behrend in 2004 and was named interim director in 2015.
"Dr. Warley brings a wealth of experience in both engineering education and industry, and is equally remarkable for his innovation and his student-centered approach," said Anne Houtman, vice president for academic affairs at Rose-Hulman.
Prior to joining Behrend, Warley spent 17 years in the aerospace materials and process engineering group with North Carolina-based LORD Corp.
