Rose-Hulman has presented Eleven Fifty Academy Senior Technical Advisor Tiffany Trusty with the Alumni Association’s Career Achievement Award for being a trailblazer for women in STEM. She was the university’s second female graduate after she received an associate’s degree from Vincennes University. Trusty also earned a master’s degree in engineering management from Rose-Hulman in 2007.

She has worked on software engineering projects for Motorola and REDUX, is a mentor and director for the Eleven Fifty Academy, and has developed software for her own clients through her Trusty Applications enterprise.

Trusty supports Indiana and national efforts for the Women in STEM initiative, has been a longtime board member and communications officer for Indianapolis’ Women & Hi Tech group, and is a member of the National Center for Women in IT Affinity Group Alliance.
