Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology has made changes in its Office of Communications and Marketing. Mary Wade Atteberry has become vice president for communications and marketing and Paul Shepherd senior director of communications and marketing. Atteberry has spent the past two years as associate vice president for communications and marketing, overseeing daily operations, and providing direction and supervision for the department. She started her career as an Indianapolis Star reporter and editor. Atteberry has communications experience at both the K-12 and university level. She previously spent 14 years at the University of Indianapolis, the final two as vice president of communications and marketing. She holds degrees from The Ohio State University and the University of Indianapolis. Shepherd has been digital content director for the Office of Communications and Marketing. He will now lead all aspects of Rose-Hulman’s web, social media, print, video and digital content. Shepherd previously spent eight years at Angie’s List, working in media relations, publications and content marketing. He also has been a freelance journalist for the Indianapolis Star and other publications since 2002. Shepherd is a graduate of Indiana University.
