The U.S. Department of Defense has awarded a $25.8 million contract to Rolls-Royce Corp. in Indianapolis. The contract calls for long-term propulsion sustainment services for the U.S. Air Force.
The DOD says Rolls-Royce will provide propulsion spares for the C-130J aircraft. Work on the contract will be performed at Robins Air Force Base in George and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio. The work is expected to be complete by the end of 2020.
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Robins AFB is the contracting activity.
