Rolls-Royce gets order for additional aircraft engines
Rolls-Royce North America has been awarded a $20 million contract, under a previously awarded agreement with the U.S. Navy. The contract calls for the manufacturing of four spare engines used on the KC-130J aircraft.
The Department of Defense says all work will be performed in Indianapolis and is expected to be completed by March 2024.
Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the contracting activity.
