The new location in Fishers, near I-69 and 116th Street, is slated to open in 2019.
The health system first announced plans for the four facilities earlier this year. The others will be located in west Carmel, east Carmel and the Nora area on the north side of Indianapolis. Those facilities are also expected to open in 2019.
Riverview’s first ER/Urgent Care facility opened earlier this month as part of the new Riverview Health Westfield Hospital in Hamilton County. The health system says having both types of services available in the same location allows patients to receive the specific care they need.
Financial terms of the facilities are not being disclosed, however Riverview says each location will employ about 80 people.
