RiverLink Touts Early Signups

The all-electronic tolling system being put in place as part of the Ohio River Bridges Project is touting its early success. RiverLink, which began operations more than one month ago, says more than 4,000 individuals and 100 businesses have opened accounts.
Tolling has not yet begun, however RiverLink opened two customer service centers in Jeffersonville and Louisville last month. Officials from both Indiana and Kentucky say they are excited that so many drivers and businesses have taken the effort to set up their accounts early.
Officials approved the tolling rates in May. Rates range from $2-$12. RiverLink says tolling will begin when work on either the John F. Kennedy Memorial Bridge or the new East End bridge is complete and open to traffic.
Both bridges are expected to be complete by the end of the year. You can learn more about RiverLink by clicking here.
