The News and Tribune in Jeffersonville reports the land sale would total $4.8 million to an unnamed prospective buyer.
Plans call for the 1.5 million square-foot facility to be located on an 80-acre tract. Currently, the largest building is the 1 million square-foot Amazon.com Inc. Fulfillment Center.
The publication reports the property is part of the nearly 900 acres River Ridge now controls after it was given to the authority last month by the federal government.
Executive Director Jerry Acy says the project would be an "industrial-type development."
