The custom packaging, engineering and IT services firm will take over Bentley’s operations in Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Cincinnati in a move it says will nearly triple Deufol’s industrial presence.
As part of the deal, Bentley will keep its headquarters in Milwaukee and will continue to operate facilities in Wisconsin and Maryland. Deufol says the acquisitions will expand its U.S. footprint.
"This strategic acquisition in the US underlines our strategy and commitment to further expand our service portfolio in a market that is on the move to reindustrialize itself," said Dennis Huebner, executive director of the board for the company’s Germany-based parent parent Deufol SE Group. "We are welcoming our new locations and talented colleagues to the Deufol family and are excited to continue to further develop our international network to enhance our support for our international customer base. This strategic move will further assist us in tackling the continuously increasing global supply chain challenges our customers are facing."
Financial terms of the acquisitions were not disclosed. Deufol SE Group employs about 2,700 people in 11 countries.
