Richmond Toy Store to be in National Spotlight

A family-owned toy shop in downtown Richmond is preparing for national television exposure. Veach's Toy Station says it is the recipient of a store makeover that is part of an NBC Today show project. The segment is set to air in February. The store is celebrating 75 years in business.

“This has been a big year for Veach's, celebrating our 75th year in business, and it's about to get even bigger!

We recently found out that Veach's is going to be on the TODAY show* and we're the recipient of a store makeover project. The big reveal will be this Friday from 3-6pm and we want to invite the Richmond community to come out and see the transformation!

This old photo (pictured on Facebook) shows the front of the building and it still looks about the same today, but it may not look like this much longer. Join us Friday from 3-6!

*The TODAY show segment will air in February, more details to come.”
